Julia, what you have written struck me as a great explanation of why we need to act in solidarty with all.
I looked in my copy of the Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church and in the Analytical Index was suprised to find it has two pages of cross references to solidarity. But not suprising since it is one of the principles of Catholic Social Doctrine (Compendium, no 192).
